Matamoros Taco Hut began with Abuela Juana, whose love for cooking and hospitality turned her home recipes into a local tradition. Starting from scratch in Gonzales, Texas, she shared the flavors of her casa — rich, comforting, and made with heart. Today, her spirit lives on in every taco and in our logo, reminding us that great food and genuine warmth are what make Matamoros feel like home.
